Ivar just send me the announcement that the new pages on our latest print making sessions of NomadicMILK project are on-line. Wow! I really like how we managed to make the sets of prints and that we actually came up with smth people can buy. The digital becomes object. Art Object even.
This is of course why the first article on the sand software is so exiting. Other people are describing a fascination for the material of sand in a digital context. I am not alone! And those mono-prints are still visualizations of digital data pure sang, but they nevertheless are all unique, for they also embody (our robot’s) limitations of technical perfection. So much for Walter Benjamin.
The Elmer article I could probably not relate to for it has noting to do with my own work. As opposed to the third Thielmann article! It was as if every sentence was written to encourage my current practice.
So for today’s reading I decided to dive into the Goole Earth theory and a canonic article on film, and I have to read the interview with Martijn de Waal in Dutch newspaper NRC and that is downloaded on my iphone. So I hurry now to get breakfast and go outdoors!
My plan is to take the train to Edale, and walk from there.
