Camoni is a website that deals with the social network aspect of health
care. It allows people to connect other people with similar physical
usually chronic illness. That connection can be manifested in many ways,
sharing in forums, opening groups on specific subjects, chatting, seeing
related people updates and so on, all can be done anonymously.
Each one of the chronic illnesses is usually separated into
a different community, each has a professional persona attached. Those are
usually senior doctors in the community field supplying professional
information and support for the community members.

The site also provides a lot of informational content written by people in
the medical fields both conventional and unconventional providing a
coverage of socially relevant information, specific personal help
by professionals and general knowledge that can be found on the site.
Technologically, the site runs on open source code, using Google’s api, and
latest jQuery interface, so its also friendly to the users across the site.
